Done fuck all constructive today. Wife went oot today for an hour or two so had a quick tommy tank upstairs whilst ankle biters played down stairs.

Contemplated getting me record deck out today but then couldn't be arsed. Thing is i got loads of vinyls that i dont have on cd and i am missing them. Crusaders, james brown the jb's and loads of other funky shit. Funkadelic, parliament,  the meters, curtis mayfield, santana the list goes on. All my black sabbath is on vinyl annorl

I got CDs from Half a dozen bands i truly like. Anything else, Spotify

I am currently enjoying mi gerry rafferty cd homoze. A couple of songs are cack ofc but he has such a silky smooth voice. My fave at the mo.

Also got a few top of the pops compilation cd's on the go at the mo. 1980 has some cool tunes on it. Funky town.

I know the 80's very well cos i worked in a record shop the first half of the 80's

Oh, i'd love to work in a real record shop. Listening to tunes all day, discovering new stuff and buying loads of pre 1983 vinyl. Yum yum.

Going to Edinburgh with the family tomorrow on the choo choo. See if there's any record shops there. Will buy some, bring it home and not listen to it

By 1983 Vinyl LP's were poor quality, very thin vinyl, medicore sound..
