Something i steer away from is Heavy Rock. Everyone knows Heavy Rock was at its best in the 70's. Later stuff is basically cack.

Only three bands i can listen to.

Led Zeppelin
Deep Purple [Gillan]
Black Sabbath [Ozzy]

I loikes the three you listed very much. I got in to heavy rock when i was about 16. A step up from throw away pop and rock opened up the gates to all sorts of different styles. So i am in its debt i reckon. Mostly a jazz man these days .

I am going to bring this up again cos i be sure i mentioned it a while back.

Its the Queen Vs Led Zep thang.. Based on the first four albums that i have listened to a zillion times before.. I still say that Queen were a far better band to listen to imho..
